A musical mobile greets guests to CANTO. Chris Cahill's poem Scar Arias and Ricardo Romaneiro's original score for the poem are combined in a sculptural arrangement by Seol Park. The graduating string-and-spiral composition mirrors the layers in Romaneiro's music. The soft planetary orbs are Dynamic Speakers by Amir Shpilman and Yair Kira, a Berlin-based composer and engineer duo whose invention is making appearances in The Maxim Gorki Theater, nightclubs, and everywhere in between.

The polished aluminum sculpture is by Norman Mooney. Mooney handles heavy metal as if it's the sweetest music; the sinuous form captures flutters, reverberates, and amplifies. The artist has recently opened up a residency platform at his metal workshop in Gowanus to give fellow artists access to the machinery and expertise available at the workshop. The graphite drawing resembling noise graphs is also by Mooney.
