Grab a seat at the sofa in this room at the right time of day, and you can listen in on the conversation between two distinguished contemporary Irish artists taking place across the room: Corban Walker in good company of Brian O’Doherty whose lucite column catches the setting sun's rays and casts brilliant rainbows across the floor and up the walls, firing up the view of Walker's sculpture.

Walker represented Ireland in the 54th Venice Biennale and O'Doherty is the subject of the current retrospective at the Irish Museum of Modern Art. Both artists have split time between New York and Dublin for many years and know each other well.

The moody moonlit landscape on the wall is by John Kelly.
